According to Jean-Claude Juncker, "we're experiencing the most profound economic crisis since the 1930s" ("wir erleben die tiefgreifendste Wirtschaftskrise seit den 1930er Jahren").
Even though Luxembourg's premier said he had carefully chosen his words, they were completely ignored by the media outside the Grand Duchy. Maybe if we all close our eyes and say "the fundamentals of our economy are strong, the fundamentals of our economy are strong" then the crisis is just going to go away. Try that, right now. We'll see if it has worked next Monday.
