| « Website schon pflichtabgeliefert? | Monday, time for a look at the "WTF of the last week" » |

Sorry for the lack of updates (who am I kidding, nobody missed me), but I was busy watching the volatile stock market and porting this blog from wordpress to b2evolution, which means I was pretty unproductive.
Anyhow, here's my "top WTF" for the last week:
According to the Times Online, "secret coded messages are being embedded into child pornographic images".
WTF?! This makes about as much sense as hiding a body in the trunk of your car by covering it with cocaine. Now there are some folks out there who think this is just really bad propaganda to pave the way for further surveillance (just read the comments on Times Online). I disagree. Actually, this is great news! Using steganography to embed invisible messages in images that would get you arrested on the spot is so stupid that we don't have to worry about these terrorist anymore. They're obviously utter imbeciles who'll kill themselves sooner or later in hilarious freak accidents (e.g. by drying their beards with an hair dryer while taking a bath).
Thank you, Times Online, we need more good news in these fearsome times. Hope someone gives you an award for this piece of outstanding journalism.
