Don't say I didn't warn you, it's pretty bad outside.
Reminds me of earlier this year when I got up very early to drive to the airport and discovered that my car and the streets were partially covered with ice. My journey would've almost ended just a block away from my house when I drove down a hill and the car wouldn't slow down anymore. After realizing I wasn't experiencing a (not very creative) nightmare I managed to defuse the situation by driving onto the sidewalk where the tires had more grip. Luckily, there wasn't anyone walking the dog at that time, this would've been a tough choice to make early in the morning. ![]()
As far as I can tell, it's worse today because everything's completely covered in ice. If only I had shoes with spikes I could grab my video camera and position myself at the hill... just kidding, I'm going to bed now and cita.lu has images from the highways, anyhow.
