"Home" is one of the most impressive films ever - and you can still watch it for free

You've still got until July 15 to watch it on YouTube.

You might not like how it starts. I didn't. I was skeptical when I saw PPR's brands prominently displayed and, quite frankly, I also found the soundtrack rather annoying at the beginning (around the three minute mark).

Nevertheless, I'm glad I watched this movie. The beauty of our planet as shown by Yann Arthus-Bertrand is breathtaking and had me wondering on more than one occasion if I was seeing some alien planet. No, it was our earth, and the message of the movie is very clear and convincing: we're destroying our home and must change our lifestyle ASAP.

You probably won't like this message, either, but rest assured that the movie won't leave you feeling depressed and suicidal (unless you don't watch it entirely). It ends with a message of hope and a call to action ("it's too late to be a pessimist"). It urges us to preserve what still remains instead of lamenting over what has been lost.

If this doesn't convince you, did I mention it has an almost-five-star user review score on amazon and that you can watch it for free?
